Profile
Makoto Kobayashi left the B.E. program in the School of Engineering, Osaka University - currently known as The University of Osaka, in 2014, to advance to the M.E. program directly. He received M.E., Ph.D. degrees from Osaka University, in 2016, 2019, respectively. He was a Research Fellow (DC2) of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, from 2017 to 2019. He was an assistant professor with Hiroshima City University, Japan, from 2019 to 2024, and a lecturer from 2024 to 2026. He has been an associate professor since 2026. His research interests include wireless networks, communications. In particular, he has significant interest in the MAC protocol to support diversified requirements, services. He is a member of IEEE, IPSJ, IEICE.
