I am an artist of contemporary textiles,I recommended by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology in Japan.I have obtained a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and the first doctorate in Fine Arts from the Kyoto City University of Arts.I win much at the country and an oversea. I am also on the board of directors of the most traditional arts and crafts association in Japan.My research subject is the thread which isn't thread and the textiles which isn't textiles and is the art which predicts the person who sees, a place and Light environment and sympathizes with a man of today.

Nowadays, Japanese industry as well as textile designs and new fiber shaping realized by the development of super fibers has been drawing attention from the world due to its unique aesthetic sense. In addition, the tapestry of the textile arts at its origin has been regarded as the highest artwork in France and Japan due to having the real charm of the art combining theme, composition, color, material, dyeing technique and weaving technology. In addition to the specific characteristics such as flexibility, light weight and warmth, the fiber has a rich luster appearing as a fine particles penetrate into the fiber and develop color. Based on traditional Japanese dyeing and weaving techniques in Kyoto, I studied about fibers and dyeing by using new materials, designing, developing threads, dyeing, weaving, and setting up the work I have done consistently through dyeing and weaving design I have been creating. Additionally, by grasping the terminus of French and Japanese textile arts, I am searching for the new possibilities of exploring new field of "a masterpiece that predicts the place, viewers and lights and resonates with modern people by being a tread which does not look like a tread, being a textile which doesn’t look like a textile” and further promoting the creative activities.
