Profile
I am interested in wireless communications and radar systems, and conducting related experiments and computer simulations. Wireless communications are familiar to us as smartphones, but here it refers to data transmission in free space. So far, I have been engaged in research on radio propagation analysis methods, inter-vehicle communication methods, signal processing methods for high-speed mobile wireless, and methods for detecting weak radio waves. I would like to achieve results conducting research on both practice and theory.

I am interested in wireless communication and radar systems, and have conducted experiments and computer simulations. Wireless communication is familiar to us as smartphones, but here it refers to data transmission itself in free space. So far, I have worked on antenna design methods, analysis methods of radiowave transmission, vehicle-to-vehicle communication methods using millimeter-wave radiowaves, signal processing methods for high-speed wireless transmission of data, and methods of detecting weak radiowaves. I would like to achieve results while conducting research and education in terms of both practice and theory. Regarding educational activities, I believe that it is important not only to provide high-quality classes and practical training, but also to carry out research activities together with students. As a global human resource development, I invite students to participate in international conferences and community contributions. As a research and education activity, an RTK (Realtime Kinematic) reference station is open to the public. Using this observation data, we can determine our position on the order of centimeters with the navigation satellites in real time. In order to use this observation data, you may need an internet connection and a receiver that can output the carrier phase. An RTK method is said to be available within a range of approximately 10 km from the reference station. The RTK reference station is considered to be available in most of central Hiroshima.
