1.Educational Activities The following five courses are taught. (1)Data Structures and Algorithms II Basic data structures such as linear lists, trees, graphs and their algorithms. (2)Data Mining Supervised learning such as decision tree, naïve bayes estimation and unsupervised learning such as clustering and association rules. (3)Lab. Intelligent System Statistical computing and text mining using R (4)Databases Relational model, normal form, SQL, index and search algorithms. (5)Multimedia Databases Spatiotemporal search algorithms of multimedia contents such as images, videos, locations, and trajectories using indices and approximations. 2.Research Activities (1)Spatiotemporal search and mining of spatiotemporal databases and its application to traffic simulation (2)Information recommendation and prediction of human behavior (3)Analysis of human motion
